Dr. Wei Zhang has a well-deserved reputation as a medical practitioner focused on preventive, predictive and preemptive care. He sees advanced procedures as a last resort, and prefers to work with patients to ensure that their lifestyle promotes good health. If more protective measures are necessary, he is extremely flexible and tailors his approach to the individual, so he can always choose the best personalized care for each patient.

Dr. Zhang has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) for many years. He is affiliated with Baylor Medical Center of Carrollton and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. Dr. Zhang has delivered several thousands of babies and accumulated vast amount of experience in managing high risk pregnancy.  He is also a high skilled surgeon in mini invasive surgeries, such as trans-vaginal hysterectomy, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic supercervical hysterectomy and hysteroscopicmyomectomy and polypectomy. These surgeries results in excellent outcomes and fast recovery. Most patients have minimum blood lose and very fast recovery when surgeries are indicated.

Dr. Zhang’s office provides state of art service including 3D/4D color ultrasound, advanced genetic studies, endometrial biopsy, in office diagnostic hysteroscopy, LEEP procedure and assure procedure for sterilization.

As a Physician Scientist, Dr. Zhang has published many articles in high impact journals. Research improved his problem solving and critical thinking. He realizes that medical research becomes crucial in the advancement of healthcare. He keeps up with new insights on modern medicine.

Dr. Wei Zhang is very passionate to patients with different culture background. He has seen patients from many countries of the world. His office is very welcoming and has multilingual services, such as English, Spanish, Mandarin and Korean. Dr. Zhang is a family man; in addition to his jogging, soccer, bridge, fishing and gardening hobbies, he looks forward to vacations with his wife and kids.
